KATHRYN LOTIS - a native of Silver Spring, MD began her career in the theatre at the age of four. Miss Lotis grew up studying and performing at such area theatres as Silver Spring Stage and Round House Theatre. A graduate of Hofstra University in NY, Kathryn studied acting, singing, dancing, television production, and choreography. Upon graduation, Miss Lotis decided to stay in NY to pursue her love for the arts.
Following graduation Kathryn started teaching dance and acting classes to children at various studios in the NY area. She taught jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and improvisation classes. Kathryn found out that not only did she enjoy teaching; she also enjoyed learning from her students as well.
In 1999, Kathryn got the exciting opportunity to be the announcer at the Women's World Cup Opening Ceremonies to a crowd of some 80,000 fans at Giant Stadium. Kathryn introduced different celebrities and musical guests.
In 2000, Kathryn wrote the lyrics and sang the original song "Dance Forever"- which was played at the NBA Draft and WNBA All Star Game.
Miss Lotis hit the red carpet in 2004 at The Daytime Emmy's as co-host for CDTV. That same year Kathryn had backstage interviews with designers Nicole Miller, Alice Roi, and Custo Barcelona for Fall Fashion Week.
Kathryn's voice can be heard on numerous radio and TV commercials.
Currently, Kathryn is working with talented music producer Craig Deleon on an original project and is looking forward to the next step.
